Kessed woke up yesterday and the first words out of her mouth were “I’m 4 now!!”  When she came out to the kitchen, she was so excited and wanted to call everyone to tell them it was her birthday and that she was 4 now!  We assured her that people would be calling her and the first call she got (from Aunt Bek) she answered “Hello!  It’s my birthday!  I’m 4!!”

At the mall ready to get ears pierced….she wasn’t too excited about it at first, though she’d been telling us for a few months that she wanted them pierced!

Daddy had a pep talk with her out in the hall and she came back in ready!

She didn’t cry a single tear!  I was amazed!

The new earrings….these are almost identical to the ones we got her except the ones we bought are bright pink!  She could have gotten the exact same ones we bought, but she chose these!  I think they’re pretty cute!

Back at home for a little party with Grandma Vera and Papa Dan…..she’ll have to have her party with friends and family in a few weeks!

So glad you had a fun day, Sweet Kessed!  I loved spending every minute with you!

Four years ago we were blessed with our second daughter, Kessed Noel!!  What joy she bring us every day with her infectious laugh and her sweet smile!  She’s grown to be quite a little ham, but at the same time has a precious sensitive, caring heart that we love to watch blossom.  As her name implies, she was God’s lovingkindness sent to us at Christmas time……just 11 days after!  We can’t wait to watch you grow, though Mommy’s heart really would like for this baby to stay3!!

Here are pictures from Christmas!   We braved the blizzard to spend Christmas Eve with the Hartman side of the family, picked up Gee Gee in the middle of the blizzard Christmas Eve night and somehow made it home to Mom and Dad’s to spend the night!  It was kind of fun being snowed in and staying in our jams all day!
