Here’s a couple quick pics of the girls playing in the snow! Kessed actually kept her gloves on this time and she really liked being in the cold snow for the first time! She also liked putting her face down in the snow while laying on her belly, as you’ll see. I’ve got a good video, but don’t have time to post in now! Maybe in the next few days!
I don’t know what the official accumulation was, but I’d say we got 6-8 inches of snow yesterday and early this morning. All the mess started early yesterday morning when it was thundering, lightening, snowing and sleeting. Pretty weird! Oh, and the day before (Monday) it was 50 and sunny which melted the little bit of snow that was left on the ground! Don’t you love Missouri weather?! We got the bulk of the snow overnight, so needless to say the girls were delighted to wake up to a very white world outside! I love our backyard, especially when it snows. It feels like we live in the forest, though we’re right in the middle of town! Anyway, here’s a few pictures of the way it looks outside today! The first one I suppose is a good reminder of the ever-changing weather here. Micah had brought me some gorgeous tulips a few days ago and I thought it was an interesting contrast against the snowy white trees!
We took several pictures of Kessed’s little 2-year birthday party, but I’ve waited until now to post them! Today’s the 5th of February, so if they’re going to be late, at least they’re exactly a month late! 
We had a small family party at Dairy Queen on her birthday – of course she got lots of presents from just a few people! Our kids are so spoiled by our family!! I’ll post some more pics over the next few days relating to her birthday!
