Well, as you’ve probably noticed there’s not been much activity going on at the Friesville Web Home lately.  That’s because there’s been a lot going on at the Friesville House!  The girls and I have been busy getting ready for a fun trip to Alabama to see Grandma Vera and Papa Dan.  We left early Tuesday morning and had safe travel all the way.  The girls were excellent on the plane.  They were very eager to go as they both woke up at 5am the day we left.  We did have a very early flight, but still 5am was a little early for me to deal with them!!   

We got to spend yesterday with some of Micah’s family.  We spent the morning at Aunt Bekah’s house baking (cookies and chocolate rice krispy treats) and then had lunch at her school with her and her boyfriend, Chris. We spent the rest of the day with Micah’s Nanny and Papa, Aunt Kari, Uncle Art and Emma. 

I have so many pictures that I want to post, but without Adobe Photoshop and my techno-savvy husband I have no clue how to do that on my parent’s computer!  So unfortunately I have no pictures to show!  But you’ll get to see them sometime soon!    Anyway, just wanted to let you know why there’s not been much going on here at Friesville! 

Each week for Awana Grace learns a new verse from the Bible. She really loves to learn her verses and recalls them very well. At her age, they’re not required to learn the “address” to the verse, but she even does that pretty well (though it’s not always exact!). This past week’s verse was “…even the winds and the waves obey Him.” Matthew 8.27 Here’s the story to go along…….

Here’s a few pictures from last week before we went to Gee Gee’s house. They were spending the night with Kirk and Kim, so they had their suitcase with them and they were ready to go!

…but I finally caught her with the camera – no smile, of course! Aunt Bekah said it well – Kessed always looks insulted that you would take her picture! And she insisted on having her jacket zipped “ah da way” (all the way!)
