Just chillin’

Kessed smelling her “asparagus” – the girls love to make “salad” with grass and stuff

Hard at it mowing the grass

I caught Sarah Grace jumping in mid-air!

Trying to bounce the ball off her knee! She actually did it a few times!

Aunt Kim arranged this FUN trip to the Shatto Dairy farm today! What a fun time we all had! Thanks a bunch, Aunt Kim!!!
This place is incredible! You can find out more about them at www.shattodairy.com The tours are only $5 a person and that’s well worth it, especially considering you get to sample ALL the milk flavors they make!

Our Crew waiting for the tour to start
L to R: Bethany, Noah, Mandi and her little guy, Bode
Kessed, Ashtyn, Grace and Makena
(Aunt Kim, Kim, Mason and Chloe must have been hiding somewhere!)

Makena thinks Missouri stinks!
They live in California and Bethany said she’s been saying it stinks for the past few weeks since they’ve been here!

Ashtyn was the only one who would put her thumb into the milking thing

Guess they don’t cry over spilled milk!

Petting Pat, the Root Beer Cow

This was definitely the kids’ favorite part (maybe besides the milk sampling)

The cow really liked Mason!

Again, Ashtyn was the only one from our little group that would milk the cow. Guess the rest of them have become to “City-fied”

Mr. Shatto himself tells us all about their dairy farm!

The Milk Sampling – Banana, Root Beer, Orange, Strawberry and Chocolate!!

Kessed was SOOO excited that it was pink like her shirt!

Even President Bush likes Shatto Milk! They won small business of the year award for the State of Missouri and got to go meet the president! That was a really cool story that Mr. Shatto shared with us. (I did ask his permission to take a picture of his picture!)

All of our little people

Last night we celebrated my Grandma’s 79th Birthday by taking her to the Plaza. She’s never been to the Cheesecake Factory, but I think she really liked it!! (She told us she’d just as soon us take her to Wendy’s!
) It was a fun evening to celebrate her life! She’s an amazing lady whom we are all grateful for. She and my Papa have passed on a legacy of faith that our family is forever grateful for.
“Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.” Deuteronomy 7:9
The Birthday Girl

Mom, Grandma, and Aunt Glory

Opening her gifts

Everyone’s ready for Cheesecake!!!

The little people had fun with just the whipped topping

Almost the Whole Crew….Micah, Jillissa and Brent couldn’t make it!

Happy 79th Birthday, Grandma!!!

Well, here it is! The new and improved room! We bought paint over a year ago to paint the girls’ room and we just haven’t had time to get it done! We thought this week would be a great time to tackle it since they’re with Micah’s parents for the week in Wisconsin. They’re going to be soooo excited tomorrow night when they come home!!!!
IT’S A SURPRISE, SO PLEASE KEEP IT QUIET IF YOU TALK TO THEM!!!!!!
