First Day of School
Today’s the first day of Kindergarten for Sarah Grace and the first day of yet another semester of Seminary for Micah. I can’t quite figure out what to do! It’s so quiet without Sarah Grace here! Kessed is content working puzzles while humming (and not having Big Sister helping her) and I’m just feeling a little bit lost! Guess I’ll post some pictures!
Daddy gives Sarah Grace some “first day of school” advice

Sending Daddy off for his first day of school…..that was much easier!

Our Big Kindergarten Girl!

Wonder when they’ll make pink school uniforms?!?!

The smile before my tears!

Lining up – there are only 11 kids in the class and she has a FABULOUS teacher, Mrs. Richardson!! What a blessing!

Kisses to moms and dads

Sarah Grace was sooo glad to have her little friend, Annie (just in front of her), from preschool in her class

The picture’s a little blurry, but this was Kessed running after Sarah Grace when they were heading in. She was trying to “keep” her! (That’s what she always tells us when she doesn’t want us to go – “I’m gonna keep you!”)

Heading to her new classroom

Kessed really wanted to play on the playground with Sarah Grace at school, but she couldn’t. As we were leaving she asked if we could go play somewhere, so we did! We headed over to our church’s playground for a quick play – just the two of us! It was sweet!

Tracy, Sarah Grace’s uniform is precious. Love the plaid and the pleats. I still remember my boys’ “first days”. It is sad at the beginning, but it will be a sweet memory for both of you. And some good one- on- one time for you and Kessed. That is a very good picture of you and Sarah Grace and I love your hair. Hope her first day is wonderful and she’s full of exciting news when you pick her up! You have a wonderful day, too. Love you all, Carla.
Great pictures Tracy! Wow, where have the years gone? Grace in kindergarten, and Kessed looking so big! It may be hard having Grace gone for the day, but what great opportunities for you and Kessed! Knowing Grace she will be full of things to tell, especially if she is anything at all like her daddy! I still remember him and his “I have just one more thing to tell you” I can’t wait to hear all she has to share! Kessed, too, on her day without Grace. Love you all, Grandma Cheryl
Carla – Yes, I love the uniforms! They’re cute and they have a variety of things they can wear, though they all have to be purchased from a certain place and all the shirts have the school logo on them. Thankfully we were blessed by hand-me-downs from some friends at church and have not had to purchase a single thing!!! God has been so good to provide that for us! Kessed and I are loving our time together. She’s a completely different child when it’s just the two of us! Praying things are well with your family! Say hello to everyone!
Precious pictures, ah, that first day of school, hate to tell you this Tracy, but it doesn’t get any easier with the next one. So glad you and Kessed can have time together too. She and Grace are growing so fast, it’s unbelieveable how all our great grandkids are growing up so fast. I’m Grace has settled in to Kindergarten now. Keep the pictures coming. Love you all.
