The New Swing Set
The girls got a HUGE suprise yesterday! In fact, I was so anxious yesterday morning thinking about how excited they were going to be I could hardly get anything done. When we bought our first house, Uncle Kirk and Aunt Kim gave the girls quite the housewarming gift – their first swingset. They’ve had tons of fun on it since they first got it. Well, yesterday I guess you could say they got an upgrade!
(Kirk and Kim are my aunt and ucle, but they’re like Grandparents to the girls. My mom has named them the “Resident Grandparents”. They spoil our girls and take care of our girls like nothing else. They have blessed our family in ways too numerous to describe.)
Although the girls weren’t as excited as I thought they’d be at first (how can a 3 and 5 year old get excited about 3 long boxes on a trailer?!?), when they saw the finished product, they couldn’t stop jumping and giggling!!

Wow! I love it, girls! I can hardly wait to come push you in those swings and watch you enjoy every inch of that fantastic surprise – even a picnic area! I can see lots of good times just waiting to happen right there in your own back yard. Have fun, little ladies! I love you!

WHOA! I’ve been expecting pics of the new swing set every since you girls told me all about it. I know you are both going to have lots of fun on it. Mom, I think they will be outside a lot this summer! Enjoy! Grandpa and I can’t wait to come and push you girls, too! Love you tons!
