Birthday Party!

November18

Here’s some pictures from Sarah Grace’s Birthday Party this past Friday night!  We had a great time getting together with some familiy and enjoying Grace’s requested meal of spaghetti!

Grace opening her gift from Grandma Cheryl and Grandpa- Bella Dancerella!  She’s already got the songs memorized and loves dancing around like a ballerina.  It’s kind of like an exercise video for kids!  Grace really likes putting in my pilates video, so maybe this will be better for her! :)

Package from Grandma Vera and Papa Dan - a new coat and lots of other goodies!

She calls it her “eximo” (eskimo) jacket!

A real baking set from Aunt Bekah!

Fun socks from Aunt Sheila and John - Aunt Bekah, she can’t wait to show these to you!

And leave it up to Aunt Kim to get Sarah Grace exactly what she asks for.  Two years ago, it was a guitar.  Last year, a scooter.  This year, her specific request when Aunt Kim asked, “What do you want for your birthday?” was “A barbie and an airplane.”  Okay, Sarah Grace knows quite a bit about the airport and how it operates.  We seem to go there a lot!  Anyway, after she asked for those two things, she then got specific.  She wanted not just any airplane, she wanted a UPS airplane.  Well, Kim went to the UPS store to purchase it and it’s only available online, so that may have to wait for Christmas!  But…….what Aunt Kim did find was a Barbie Glamour Jet - yes, a Barbie and an airplane, exactly what the little lady asked for!  (Can anybody say SPOILED?!?!) :)  We love you, Aunt Kim!

Toss-Across from Jackson and the Rush family!

G G made the cake for us and Daddy decorated it (yes, he did!).  It was yummy!

Grace listen to everyone sing “Happy Birthday.”  She told me a few days before her birthday that she wanted everyone to sing “not very loud because it hurts my ears when they sing loud!”  So we tried our best to sing soft.  Goodness, this kid’s picky!  (Not sure where she gets that! :)

Daddy and Kessed try out the Gator Golf game from G G

Great pictures! Well I think I know where Grace got the idea to say, don’t sing loud it hurts my ears! Every wed. night without fail Mrs. Terri says that. Before it starts we gather the kids up and prayer and then Mrs. Hazel always asks them what the cubblie’s theme bible verse is, “God loved us and sent His Son.” And most of the time the kids don’t say it real loud and Mrs. Hazel says I didn’t here you and I bet Mrs. Terri didn’t either so they say it really loud. Then Mrs. Terri says “oh my that is so loud, it hurts my ears!” just as a joke….but they go through that just about every Wed. night. So I’m guess that’s where Grace got the idea! :) Kids really pick up on everything!!
