Grace’s First Soccer Game

We’ve signed Sarah Grace up for soccer, but I’m not so sure this is going to be her sport! She says she likes the practices, but she doesn’t like the games because “we play to long.” Her first game was last week (when I took these pictures), but during today’s game Micah asked her why she was just standing there when her team and the ball were at the opposite end of the field and she said “…because I was pickin’ my nose.” She really likes the idea of soccer, but I’m not so sure she’s going to be an athlete. I’m thinking we should try ballet next year!

She is my niece! I’m the one who tried baseball one year, made one hit the entire season and turned and walked back into the dugout…when asked why I didn’t run I simply replied…”I didn’t want to!” Jared really loved me that year since we were on the same team…I stuck with ballet and tap after that and didn’t worry about sports!
