We had Mother’s Day at Gee Gee’s house this past Sunday and Kessed couldn’t quite make it through lunch!

Here are some pictures from this morning.  Kessed was in the mood to smile again!  Maybe she’s getting used to the fact that her mom’s a photo fanatic (it’s hereditary!!) and figures it’s just best to smile the first time and get it over with! :)  Aunt Kim gave the girls their dresses for Easter and Kessed got these very stylish shoes from Aunt Kim on her birthday.

……..that’s what she’s occasionally called around our house! She’s our dirt digger, our mess-maker and our “LC” as Uncle Kirk has nicknamed her. It stands for “little Christy.” My sister, Christy, was always into the dirt, loved worms, all that tomboy-type stuff. Kessed is the second-coming of her, we believe! What made it all the more real for us was recently watching some home videos of my sister, Christy, my cousin, Sarah and myself when we were little. It was amazing how our personalities haven’t changed a bit and how much Kessed IS just like her Aunt Christy!!

Thanks to my faithful Oxy powder and spray, Micah didn’t get in too much trouble for sending Kessed out to play in her khaki pants. I was gone for the morning and was mortified when I came home to see what she was wearing to play outside!!! Thankfully, though, after a couple of washings, sprayings, scrubbings and soakings the pants and shirt both came clean. Oh, how I love my OXY!!! Since I was first introduced to it just after Kessed was born, it’s something I always include in baby gifts now. It’s some pretty impressive stuff!
