Here’s a short video of the rice-krispy-treat-making!

Baking with Aunt Bekah

March24

My girls LOVE to bake……..unfortunately I don’t!  I’m more of a “main course” type cook!  That’s my favorite part to eat…….I don’t like dessert too much, so therefore I don’t like to bake or make many desserts.  The only kind of dough my girls get to mess with at home is pizza dough, so it’s always fun when we visit family (or family visits us) for the girls to get to make cookies or something like that!  While we were in Alabama, we spent our first full day there with Aunt Bekah (Micah’s sister) and the girls had a BLAST getting to bake with her.  She’s an excellent baker - we always said we’d do well cooking together - I’d serve the meal, then she’d do dessert! :)  The girls got to make cookies and then chocolate chip rice krispy treats!

Resurrection Day!

March23

The girls and I got home early Thursday morning and have been going non-stop since then! I’m finally getting back to the computer and hoping to post lots of pictures over the next few days/week of our trip!

Today was a fabulous day, though!! We we SO excited to have the opportunity to worship the Risen Savior! Our service this morning was amazing! The girls wore their sleeveless dresses (with sweaters, of course!) today, though it was pretty cool outside. Aunt Kim gave the girls their dresses for Kessed’s birthday and we decided right away they would be their Easter dresses! We had to be at church early to do nursery, so I didn’t get to do my regular “Sunday Snapshots” - maybe I can get Aunt Glory or Sarah to email me the family pictures they took that perhaps show the girls’ dresses a little more! :)

After church we headed to Gee Gee and Old Papa’s house to have dinner with my family. Tim, Glory, Sarah, Seth, Jillissa and Jackson joined us there for a day of family fun! After a fabulous dinner, the kiddos enjoyed a COLD Easter Egg Hunt. Here’s a few pics from today…………..

In Alabama

March13

Well, as you’ve probably noticed there’s not been much activity going on at the Friesville Web Home lately.  That’s because there’s been a lot going on at the Friesville House!  The girls and I have been busy getting ready for a fun trip to Alabama to see Grandma Vera and Papa Dan.  We left early Tuesday morning and had safe travel all the way.  The girls were excellent on the plane.  They were very eager to go as they both woke up at 5am the day we left.  We did have a very early flight, but still 5am was a little early for me to deal with them!!

We got to spend yesterday with some of Micah’s family.  We spent the morning at Aunt Bekah’s house baking (cookies and chocolate rice krispy treats) and then had lunch at her school with her and her boyfriend, Chris. We spent the rest of the day with Micah’s Nanny and Papa, Aunt Kari, Uncle Art and Emma.

I have so many pictures that I want to post, but without Adobe Photoshop and my techno-savvy husband I have no clue how to do that on my parent’s computer!  So unfortunately I have no pictures to show!  But you’ll get to see them sometime soon!    Anyway, just wanted to let you know why there’s not been much going on here at Friesville!
