Grace’s (and her daddy’s) favorite way to fix her hair is in pigtails.  Kessed, though, is always wanting to do what big sister does, so she had to have piggies too!  This was her first time to have pigtails and they looked pretty cute on her!  (Polka dot outfits compliments of Aunt Kim!)

Well, these are somewhat unbelievable Sunday Snapshots as I actually got Kessed to smile and take a picture!  We’re making progress.  She did run away from me at first, but then something got into her and she stood there, kind of smiled and waited for me to snap a picture.  I couldn’t believe it!   The girls got their outfits from Aunt Kim for Grace’s birthday this past year.  I may have posted pics of them in these outfits before, but these are some of my favorite outfits, so you get to see them again!

Grace and Kessed love to read books and Papa Dan is always ready to read with them!  Apparently Kessed wasn’t as interested in the story as the other two were!

Living in cold Northwest Missouri, the girls were delighted to get to spend a lot of time outside during our trip to Alabama. After the girls had fun baking with Aunt Bek, we got to go to the college we all went to (where she works now) and have lunch. The girls enjoy going there because the have great soft-serve ice cream (and lots of other great food)! We got to meet Aunt Bekah’s boyfriend, Chris, and have lunch with him, also. The girls were shy with Chris at first, but it didn’t take long for them to get warmed up! Before long Grace was giving him instructions on how to run a race. They had lots of fun racing around the school’s grassy area and playing together.
