The girls wore these outfits this morning, although these snap shots are from a while back. The Rush Family gave these very cute dresses to the girls for Christmas (I don’t buy many clothes for my kids - the extended family keeps them well-clothed as you can probably tell!! )

For the past several weeks Grace has been making their bed every morning. She doesn’t always like to do it, but most days she has lots of fun making the bed then arranging several animals and sometimes blankets on her bed. She does a pretty good job for a 4-year-old, I think! Here’s some pictures of her “set-ups.”

And of course, Kessed had to wiggle her way into the picture before destroying Grace’s set-up!

Kessed always takes a little while to wake up, but I love it! She can be so snuggly sometimes (and other times she can be like “don’t touch me!!”).  I took these pics a few weeks ago after she had gotten up from a nap.

This morning was a snuggly morning, though. I got up pretty early and was out in the living room doing my bible study. About 6:40 I heard the girls’ door open and out came Kessed (if it was a usual morning, that would mean my time was up!). However, this morning she climbed up in our big green chair where I always sit in the morning and just snuggled up next to me and nearly fell back to sleep (until the next girl came out about 10 minutes later, then the sleepiness was gone!) It was so precious, though. I love it when they just snuggle up to me like that!

The girls definitely have their own sense of fashion…………..not sure where it came from! Here’s some snapshots I captured recently.

Grace had just come inside from playing in the snow and was getting hot! A few weeks ago, I mentioned something to her about being “hot-natured” (as she is) and now that’s always her excuse to wear short-sleeves and roll up her long john’s when it 5 degrees outside! And Kessed, well she LOVES her snow boots and wants to wear them all the time. We just let her if she’ll keep something on her feet!
